He had a confrontation with Gus
He had a confrontation with his dog this morning.
At about 4:13 am, Gus had to go to the bathroom. Gus put his nose in Jerry's nose, That's the signal that Gus has to go to the bathroom. He won't go until Jerry walks him out. He looks at Jerry until they go out together, which they did. He said, "OK, Gus. You can go for it." It takes Gus a while. You have to coddle him a little bit. Gus is a big, spoiled, German Shepherd.
After Gus was done with his excursion, Jerry had to go to the store (Vons) which stays open all night. He got in his Budget Car Sales car ("of course") and put Gus in the back. They went down to the "supermarket, or whatever they call those things that sell food", passing San Diego National Bank. He realized that what he wanted wasn't there. It was now 5 o'clock in the morning. It was discouraging to realize that what he wanted wasn't there. So he came back and he went to bed.
He wanted a certain kind of an orange and since they didn't have it, he went home and pouted. Gus didn't want to go back, but Jerry told Gus, "You're done, pal."
